We feed raw
We have been feeding our cats raw since we started our cattery in 2012, buying the various components of a balanced diet from multiple sources. Vets discourage raw feeding because many people don’t feed a balanced diet, but today there are several companies providing balanced raw food for cats and dogs.
One such company that we use to feed our cats is Chefs4Pets. Orders are placed online and delivered frozen to your door. Kibble from Royal Canin we give to our cats as treats, not as food, and should not be left in a bowl for cats to help themselves. Rattling a tin of kibble is the best way to get cats inside in the evenings.
